2025年1月16日、「人材マネジメント」講座（担当教員：平本奈央子非常勤講師）の講義において、ABS修了生で外資系IT企業リクルーティングチーム所属の島貫有香理氏をゲストにお招きし、『日系及び外資系IT企業の人材マネジメントとキャリアマネジメント』というテーマで授業内講演をしていただきました。

近年、日本においても同社の人材マネジメントは注目を集めていることから受講者の関心も高く、本講演では創業から現在に至るまでの発展の歴史、同社独自の企業文化や人材マネジメントの特徴について詳しく解説いただきました。
また、島貫氏ご自身の経験として、日系企業での7年間と現職でのご経験を比較しながら、日系企業と外資系企業における人材マネジメントの違いについても詳しく解説いただきました。特に採用手法の違いや、評価・処遇制度、ワークライフバランスなどについて、実務者ならではの具体的な視点からお話しいただき、受講生の理解を深めることができました。

さらに、ご自身の大学時代やABSでの経験、そしてキャリア形成についても語っていただき、現在のキャリアにつながった転機についても詳しくお話しいただきました。受講生からは、IT業界での就職やキャリア形成に関する具体的な質問が多く寄せられ、活発な質疑応答が行われました。

本講演は、理論と実践の両面から人材マネジメントについて学ぶ貴重な機会となり、受講生にとって大変有意義な学びの場となりました。

Human Resource Management

On January 16, 2025, as part of the Human Resource Management module (taught by Adjunct Lecturer Naoko Hiramoto), ABS alumna Yukari Shimanuki, a member of the recruiting team at a foreign-affiliated IT company, was invited as a guest speaker to deliver a lecture on "Human Resource and Career Management in Japanese and Foreign-Affiliated IT Companies."

Given the increasing attention paid to the company’s human resource management strategies in Japan in recent years, students showed strong interest in the lecture. Ms. Shimanuki provided an in-depth explanation of the company’s history, from its founding to the present, highlighting its unique corporate culture and key aspects of its human resource management approach.

Drawing from her own experience, Ms. Shimanuki compared her seven years working at a Japanese company with her current role at a foreign-affiliated firm, offering insights into the differences in human resource management between Japanese and foreign-affiliated companies. She shared practical, firsthand perspectives on key topics such as recruitment strategies, performance evaluation and compensation systems, and work-life balance, which greatly enhanced students' understanding.

Additionally, she reflected on her university years and time at ABS, discussing pivotal moments that shaped her career. The lecture prompted many detailed questions from students about job opportunities and career development in the IT industry, leading to an active and engaging Q&A session.

This lecture provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn about human resource management from both theoretical and practical perspectives, making it an enriching and insightful experience.
