細田高道教授が、国立研究開発法人新エネルギー・産業技術統合開発機構による「5G等の活用による製造業のダイナミック・ケイパビリティ強化に向けた研究事業開発事業」の評議員に就任しました。

この事業は、ダイナミック・ケイパビリティの強化を最新の無線通信技術によるスマートファクトリー化により実現するためのガイドライン整備を目標としています。また同時にスマートファクトリーの全体像を提示した上で、日本の現状と目指すべき方向性、評価指標、業種別の導入事例等をまとめます。本ガイドラインにより、今後日本の製造業が強化すべき事業領域、取り組むべき研究開発課題を再定義するとともに、5GDC事業の研究開発事業につながることが期待されます。

Professor Takamichi Hosoda accepts an appointment of a member of Board of Trustees about the “Research and Development Utilizing Wireless Communication Technologies to Reinforce the Dynamic Capabilities of the Manufacturing Industry” project by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organisation (NEDO).

The project aims to develop guidelines to realise the enhancement of dynamic capability through smart factories using the latest wireless communication technology. At the same time, the project will present an overall picture of smart factories and summarise the current situation in Japan, the direction to take, evaluation indicators and case studies by industry sector. It is expected that these guidelines will redefine the business areas that should be strengthened and the R&D issues that should be addressed by the Japanese manufacturing industry in the future, and that they will lead to a R&D project to the 5GDC project.
